Our Mission
To provide emergency assistance for the basic needs of individuals and families in Osage County, Kansas.
Harvester’s Mobile Food Pantries
Each month in Carbondale and Lyndon, anyone is eligible to get food such as; bread, fresh produce and other perishable items.
In Carbondale, go to Carbondale Church of Christian Fellowship on the 2nd Tuesday of the month beginning at noon. Their address is: 430 Commercial.
In Lyndon, go to Jones Park on the 3rd Friday of the month beginning at noon.
Other programs
There are other programs available at the Help House that include: SNAP(Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), Back to School supplies, Fan Club, winter coat giveaways, Kids and Adults Christmas stores and more. Call for details.
Help House is an agency partner and recipient of grant money awarded by The United Way of Flint Hills.

Food Distribution
The Help House Food Pantry provides a 3 to 5 days supply of food for those who meet income guidelines one time each month.
Utililty Assistance and more
Heating costs assistance is available on a one-time limited basis. Clients must attend a budgeting course to pre-qualify to receive assistance. Propane, electric, gas, wood and pellets are included as heat sources.
Clothing Plus Store
Residents of Osage County are welcome to shop for the items found in our clothing plus store, which often includes seasonal clothes, shoes, household goods, toys and more.
